Bespoke joinery, kitchens, extensions and renovations across Perthshire, Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland — fifteen years of craftsmanship, on every job.
We started Cherry Joinery to do things the way they should be done — properly, honestly, and with the kind of care that turns customers into friends.
Whether the job is a single replacement door or a full home renovation, we treat every piece of work as if we were doing it on our own home. That's the standard we hold ourselves to — and it's why so many of our customers come back to us, year after year, with the next project on their list.
Beyond joinery, we work with a trusted network of plumbers, electricians, painters and architects — so when a job needs more than just a joiner, you've got one team coordinating the whole thing.
We're based in Abernethy, Perthshire, and travel for the right work — Edinburgh, Dundee, Stirling, the Borders. Wherever the job is, the standard is the same.
From the simple to the substantial — every project carried out by qualified City & Guilds carpenters, with a trusted network of trades on hand for everything else.
Working alongside a network of trusted trades, we delivered a complete renovation packed with bespoke features — a one-off oak staircase with glass balustrade, curved slatted ceilings, hand-built feature walls and a custom kitchen finished to the highest standard.
Every joinery detail in the home was designed and built to give the property a real wow factor — and to last.
A lovely couple, a beautiful home. Numerous bespoke features carried out to give the property that proper wow factor.
I saw a console table I liked online but didn't want it floating away from the wall. They designed and built one that slides over the radiator with hidden ventilation — exactly what I'd asked for, only better.
We needed extra storage to match our existing kitchen. They sourced the same frontals, fitted everything seamlessly, and you'd never know it wasn't there from day one. Over the moon.
Long-standing customers — they've done multiple jobs for us now. The latest was a full bespoke kitchen, designed around the way our family actually uses the space. Cannot fault them.
Hi Amanda/Chris. Janice and I would like to say a big thank you for fitting our kitchen, we are delighted with the way it is looking. Amanda, thanks for coordinating dates and times and communicating in such a clear and friendly way. Chris, thanks to you and your team for your hard and conscientious work to make sure the job was finished to a high standard. Thanks again
Hi Amanda. Anne has put up a post on your Facebook page with some photos. We really can't thank Chris and his team enough for such a great job. We will certainly be recommending Cherry Joinery and will use your services again in the future.
Just so happy with shower room and main bathroom. Two weeks work by Cherry Joinery and it is perfect. Everything was cleaned, hoovered and ready to use. Thanks alot Chris.
Cannot recommend this company enough! Chris and his team have carried out numerous jobs in my cottage near Perth. They are clean, efficient and the finished jobs are always aesthetically pleasing.
Would highly recommend Chris and his team if you require a professional job done. From day one, Chris was able to turn our idea in to reality and boy di he and his team deliver! A bathroom changed in to an ensuite with a walk in shower, creating an entrance via a built in wardrobe and creating a second toilet area from the other half of the bathroom and cupboard. Thank you so much for doing such a great job- we both really appreciate it.
Had a damaged leaking bathroom. It was wet and smelt. Wet wall and flooring completely rotten. The joiner spent a week gutting my bathroom. He was amazing. He worked so hard and to a very high standard of work. Would 100% recommend Cherry Joinery Ltd. I am so thankful and grateful.
Chris and team have done a great job of helping me with my bathroom. I had a leak and the joists were rotten. The joists were replaced, as was the floor. They worked around timings for plumbing and electrical works. Really happy with the quality and effort.
Delighted with Chris and his team. They were really efficient, tidy and did an excellent job. Will definitely be using them again.
Great company. Chris and his team have worked at our business and our home. Will have the team back soon to do further works at both. Would definitely recommend
