How quickly can you give me a quote?

For most jobs, we'll be back to you with a written quote within 72 hours of your enquiry. For larger projects that need a site visit, we'll usually arrange that within the same week and quote shortly after.

Are you fully insured?

Yes — public liability and professional indemnity insurance covering all residential and rental work. We're happy to send across the documents if you'd like a copy on file.

Do you handle planning applications?

For larger projects like extensions and conservatories, yes — we work with qualified architects who can draw up plans, and we'll handle the council application process on your behalf.

Can you work on listed or period buildings?

Absolutely — heritage and restoration work is one of our specialities. We're experienced with sash window restoration, original feature repair, and the kind of sympathetic work listed buildings need.

How do you charge — fixed or hourly?

We work on fixed-price quotes wherever possible — agreed up front so there are no surprises. For ongoing maintenance and small repairs, hourly rates apply, which we'll explain clearly before any work begins.

Do you offer a guarantee?

All our workmanship is guaranteed for 12 months as standard, with longer guarantees on certain materials (manufacturer warranties on items like windows, doors and roofing materials). If something's not right, we'll come back and put it right.
